The Garden Tea Party starts today, and everybody’s invited! Will you be a tea brewer, serving-talent, or patron? Why not try all three! Dress the part with the “tea-riffic” hats at Cassie’s Costume Shop – all players can buy the hats with Pixie Diamonds and Members can also get them with Ingredients. Then, find out how to earn the three tea party badges by reading the signposts in the Tearoom, Sunflower Gully, Neverfruit Grove, and Palm Tree Cove!
Also, be sure to visit Rosetta for a new quest – she needs our help cooking up a sweet feast! Adding even more pixie excitement to the day, Marina will be in Palm Tree Cove on Hidden Ridge Server at 3 PM Pixie Standard Time today to choose festive Fairies for her June Fashion Spotlight!

Queen's Boutique and DDD~June 6th, 2012

Double Diamond Days are here! Happy dance time!

Erm... Okay... Where was I? Oh yeah!
When you first log in....

Oops, I kinda cut off Rosetta and Silvermist. I'm sure they'll forgive me...
The fairies' outfits are pretty awesome! The fairy on the right actually looks a lot like the oufit I'm wearing; click here for my Pixie Page.

And there are two new dresses in the Queen's Boutique!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Morning Glory Gown! It almost convinced me to buy some Diamonds... almost...
I also made a little graph to chart the sales of the last two dresses in the Queen's Boutique. Around the same time everyday, I'd fly into the Boutique to see how many dresses were left. I figured out which dress sold faster and was more popular that way!
So, my graph...

My conclusion (hey, science class IS good for something!) was that the Golden Roses gown was more popular than the Gossamer Gown, but not by much. When the Never Council replaced the dresses, neither of them had yet sold out.
Should I make a graph for the new dresses, or do you guys not really care? (I won't be offended, don't worry.)

Garden Tea Party 2012 Overview

The Garden Tea Party of 2012 will be HUGE! Here's the overview so far!

• Rosetta's going to have a new quest for members! Since I'm not a member, I may be able to find some pictures off the forums to post here.
• Double Diamond Days have arrived for the first time ever: you get double the diamonds for the same price. Click here for more info.
• New fashions will come out tomorrow, June 7th. For the Fashion Peek, click here.
• The Fairy Tale Theater will now become the Fairy Tale Theater Kitchen! Mayhaps nonmembers will be able to bake cookies or something :)
• Rosetta and Dulcie will be visiting the Hollow in the Tearoom, Fairy Tale Theater Kitchen, and special parties called Delicious Tea Party. Keep an eye out for those! To see the Calendar, click here.

So far, that's it! I may add to this list, or I may simply start a new post detailing the new stuff. Sorry for the many posts today; but I still need to make one more...

Hints of summer are in the air, and Pixie Hollow’s welcoming the warmer weather with the Garden Tea Party, starting June 7!
Cassie’s Costume Shop will be your first stop for “tea-riffic” party hats! Wear the festive hats in the Tearoom and at the decorated tea tables set up in Neverfruit Grove, Sunflower Gully and Palm Tree Cove to earn badges, prepare tea, and share teatime treats with your pixie pals. Read the signposts to find out more!
Also during the party, Fairy Tale Theater will turn into a kitchen, where you can cook up yummy treats. Plus, Rosetta will need pixies’ help cooking up a sweet feast on her quest for Members! To top it all off, Rosetta and baking-talent Dulcie will be celebrating with pixies in the Tearoom, Fairy Tale Theater Kitchen, and public parties named “Delicious Tea Party”. Keep your eye on the Calendar so you don’t miss them!

In the purchase options, you can get double the amount of diamonds for the same price!

Pretty cool, right? If you're gonna buy some diamonds, now's defninitely the time to do it!

Double Diamond Days

You read that right – Double Diamond Days are here! Now through Sunday, June 10, get double the Pixie Diamonds when you buy them with your parent’s permission. The timing is pixie perfect, because the Queen’s Boutique has just added two new to-fly-for gowns. Plus, more flitterific fashions and home items will arrive this Thursday at the Pixie Post Office, Summit Style and many of the other shops.
If you haven’t yet, be sure to enter your drawing in the Fairy Art for Nature Contest. The contest ends at noon on June 13, and we want to plant more seeds! Spread the word!!

Nature Days Contest

A couple of tips on the Nature Days Art Contest, taken from the official rules at http://disney.go.com/fairies/pixie-central/contests/rules.html

[The art will be judged by] 50% for how well the Contest theme is captured, 25% for creativity and 25% for overall appearance, color, detail and artistic quality (collectively, "Criteria").
And if you win...
All potential winners will be notified by email on or about June 26, 2012.

So, my suggestion is to read through the rules and then enter your drawing. Have fun, and good luck to everyone entering!

Peri

While perusing the Pixie Hollow website, I discovered the little "characters" tab.
The first fairy that popped up was the Frost-Talent, Periwinkle, or "Peri" for short. Since there's been ABSOLUTELY NOTHING 'round the Hollow, I felt the need to post a picture of this!

Frost-Talent... I wanna be one of those!
